Game of Sneakers, 2019

Sneaker game is getting more serious than ever in 2019. Yet, this is good news for us! The brands are revealing new series' and models one after another and we love them all!
Here are latest trends and collaborations:

1. New Balance Coastal Pack

Taking inspiration from the crustaceons and and other shell-fish native to the east-cost shoreline of the US, New Balance is dropping off a breezy “Coastal Pack” infused with seaside-inspired palettes. The trio includes two new editions of the 997 silhouette, as well as a fresh version of the 998.

2. Adidas x Missoni

Italian fashion house Missoni and iconic sportswear brand adidas Running have collaborated on a limited-edition range of running apparel and footwear. The collection features the brand’s iconic flame pattern throughout. The footwear carries the adidas Ultraboost with the Missoni space-dying technique on the knitted upper and combines it with adidas’ BOOST technology in the shoe’s midsole for vital support.

3. Reebok Debuts Neon-Pop Run.r 96  x Sock Run.r

Reebok has unveiled a slew of new colourways of its Run.r 96 and Sock Run.r silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2019. The two technical sneakers pay homage to retro-futuristic pairs such as the 1996 PUMP EVO prototype, which lends its signature split cushioned sole unit to the two pairs.

4. Off-White™ x Nike

Initially teased by Virgil Abloh himself during Coachella, here is a better look at the latest Off-White™ x Nike collaborative sneaker. The new kicks feature an entirely unique structure which takes influences from the Nike Air Presto, as seen on the tongue. The one seen above is dressed in more subtle colours of white and beige, while neon yellow hits can be found on the laces, toe cap and the exaggerated traction grips on the rubber sole. Some sections of the shoe have also been crafted from what looks to be glow-in-the-dark panels. Finally black Swoosh insignias on both the lateral and medial sides finishes off the overall look of this latest model. Stay tuned for an official release date.

5. Y-3 RUNNER 4D II

Y-3 and adidas continue their collection of future-forward footwear with the release of the Y-3 RUNNER 4D II. This time around, the 4D sole unit returns in a Spring/Summer-ready bone-white hue, supporting a double-layer Primeknit upper. The limited-edition sneaker will release at Y-3 stores, y-3.com and select stockists on May 2, 2019.

8 Menswear Investment-worthy Pieces That Every Man Should Have In His Closet

Trends come and go but your wardrobe - and you – need more stable relationship, right? There are some timeless, investment-worthy pieces that every man should have in his closet. Pieces that make you look put-together, no matter what. Wardrobe-wise this is the most solid advice you’re going to receive all year. We’ve done the work to pull together a list of 8 trending menswear pieces that will get year-long wear and play nice with others. Happy shopping.

1. Field Jacket

Field jackets suit practically everyone, but they’re not completely overdone, so the sooner you enlist one, the better.

2. Grey Sweatshirt

Elvis, Paul Newman, and even King Edward VIII were all partial to a sporty grey sweatshirt – and pictures of them wearing the item look just as fresh today as they did when they were taken. If that's not proof of how timeless they are, then we don't know what is.

3. Straight-Leg Trousers

It’s been more than a decade since the introduction of skinny jeans, but they’re not every men's favourite. Always have straight-leg trousers in your wardrobe for timeless and cool styles. 2018 calls for a straight-leg fit anyway.

4. A Variety of Solid Colour T-shirts

As suits become increasingly rare in offices, the chances are you'll wear T-shirts (whether alone or in your layering style) more than any other item you own. You never have enough t-shirts so just put some in the basket anyway. It's best to go for the highest quality one you can afford in a variety of colours – white, navy and black or grey are good starting points.

5. Anti-Minimal Trainers

Ugly trainers become a huge trend in 2017. We’d advise you to rein it in a little for 2018. You can pick up a pair of statement kicks.

6. Herringbone Coat

It’s been almost a decade since heritage menswear was done to death, so the time is finally ripe for it to have another outing in your wardrobe. Throw it over a suit now for smart but statement-making style, and come next winter layer over sportswear staples for a more contemporary high-low feel.

7. Smart Black Shoes

Black shoes tend to get relegated to workwear, but the right pair can work just as well casually. Go for something that's fairly classic but with a slightly chunkier sole and a bit of personality up top and it'll be just as suited to your time off the clock as on.

8. Chunky Derbies

Do not hesitate to be bold in 2018-19 when it comes to shoe game. Menswear’s going a step further by giving traditionally ‘safe’ Derby shoes a plus-size injection of personality.

SS16 Wardrobe Must-Have List for Men

Shake yourself and get ready for brighter days! 20+ degree weather is just around the corner. So it’s time to update our wardrobes. We put together some classics of menswear and added some new trends for SS16. Prints, bold colours, modern shapes and a range of unexpected accessories for the hotter months are places as the top of the list. First let’s check out the classic must-haves and see the trends at the bottom.

1. Linen Shirt

They wrinkle easily but breathing fabric is a must-have for summer. It’s suitable for both street style and office style so that’s make it life saver for every summer. It’s fresh, cool and useful. We bet you already have at least 2-3 linen shirts but why not to add more? It’s an everyday outfit piece.

2. Cotton T-Shirt

This is not just for fathers anymore. It’s healthy yet stylish. The same reasons we list above are for cotton t-shirts too. No matter how many you have, they are never enough.

3. Blazers

Blazers are in must-have list especially for spring. For the best casual looks you must add a blazer to your outfit.  You can wear them with chinos, jeans and even with bermudas. You will thank us at breezy spring afternoons and nights. We prefer light colours for summer.

4. Bomber jackets

Bomber jacket is perfect for cool, edgy and urban look.  It’s also one fo the best choices for in-between seasons.

5. Light jeans and chinos

No need to write the reasons for this one. Just don’t forget to roll your cuffs.

6. Bermudas

Our favourite! We wouldn’t get bored to see them all summer. Cool, chic, sporty, trendy… Everything! You can easily pair them with sandals, loafers and sneakers. Don’t hesitate to go bold with colours this season.

7. Bonus
  • Besides these classic pieces floral and geometric prints are very popular this season.
  • Plus – denim overalls, bold colours, backpacks and slogan t-shirts are other top list elements for SS16 Menswear. White sneakers are essentials. √
  • Don’t forget you cool and sexy bracelets and pendants.
  • Fedora hats are just as cool as beanies in winter.

#ShoePorn for Men!

Shoe addiction may seem like just for women but this is not true. Even if it’s true that means women look at your shoes and criticize your taste. Either way you have to be careful and selective as a men when it comes to shoes.
Men shoes have an informal look for Spring 2014, but are yet very stylish. If you are a conservative guy in means of style try the ones with laces.  One of the hottest trends in men’s shoes for the season are the solid soles, decorated with metal elements or unexpected colours. But I – personally- don’t like metals in men’s shoes unless they are just for decoration. The most popular models of men’s designer shoes for the spring of 2014 are moccasins, loafers, slippers and chukkas. Smooth leather, suede and nubuck keeps their ranking in fashion. You will also find that reptile skin and reptile skin imitations are another popular choice of material for men’s shoes. Combinations of materials with different textures are also possible.

My DO’s
  • Loafers (just for a business look)
  • Sandals & flip flops with Bermudas
  • Trainers (always)
  • Chukkas

My DON’Ts
  • Reptile Skin
  • Too much metal elements
  • Pointy-toed shoes
  • Flip flops with boot cut jeans

Vibrant colours, like cobalt blue, emerald green and cherry are another popular trends in men’s shoes for this season. Of course, the traditional colours like black and brown are not excluded. You can also try floral prints for espadrilles too (Which I like a lot!)

Here is the editor’s pick (which is me in this case) for shoe shopping!

SS14 Men's Footwear Trends

Passion for shoes is not just for women and it shouldn’t be! Guys; no style is finalized with a great pair of shoes. After all, footwear is one of the most important aspects of any look. Remember; what you choose to put on your feet actually does reflect something about you, whether it be laziness (socks with slip-on sandals), obliviousness (untied sneakers) or keen style savvy (Those trendy suede desert boots I love so much).
Suede desert boots look good on everyone. Less formal, less sporty; just the way it should be!  If they're good enough for prince harry, they are good enough for you too!
Men's footwear brand Allen Edmonds did a survey of 1,000 American men and women, and they found that women judge men's shoes twice as much as men judge women's. 64 percent of women judge a man's fashion sense based on his shoes; 52 percent of women say they judge a man's personality by his shoes; 36 percent say they use shoes to determine a man's financial position; and 54 percent say men's shoes reflect a guy's attention to detail (or lack thereof).

First rule first: Either you wear Oxfords, sandals or trainers, make sure that they are clean and polished!

Men’s footwear summer fashion trend 2014 collections show a variety of models are showed like loafer, boots, moccasins, sleepers, top-siders and indoor trainers. Besides, some key points are important too. Such as suede, geometric and floral designs, and bright colours. As I see, using classic shoes in a sporty way is/has been the ‘essential for SS14’ for the designers. We see wicker and perforated materials and partial perforation a lot from well-known brands.
  • Espadrilles. The comfortable trend. We were already expecting this from London Collections: Men spring/summer 2014. :) They come in neutral shades, bright saturated colours or models with fashionable print. Traditional cotton, fabric or glitter fabric is also used commonly.
Givenchy, Richard James, Dries Van Noten, Canali. Canali is my favourite here!

Richard James, E. Tautz, Gieves & Hawkes
  • Sandals. Forever! Especially the gladiator ones are the winners! Either you can choose leather ones or canvas, these is a ‘must have’ in your wardrobe.

Trussardi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dries Van , 3.1 Phillip LimNoten
  • When it comes to attending to a party or a dinner you can choose smart looking espadrilles, oxfords or loafers. They are always ‘in’. Try to pick the wicker ones (If you go with leather).

Nicole Farhi, E. Tautz, Richard James, Canali. LOVED the one by E. Tautz!

Wicker and Perforated materials and partial perforation from Emporio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Dolce & Gabbana
  • Trainers. The king of 4 seasons! This season the winner is the most colourful and bold ones! You can also wear them with a formal wear too!

Prada, Yohji Yamamoto, Missoni, Louis Vuitton
